Built by people who got tired of chasing rent through WhatsApp.
VilliQ started the way most useful software does — as a workaround for a problem that kept coming back. Someone in our circle was managing a handful of properties in Lagos with a Google Sheet and three separate WhatsApp groups, and every month looked the same: chasing tenants for proof of payment, manually writing receipts, and hoping nobody asked for last quarter's numbers.
What we actually believe
Nigerian landlords and property managers don't need another generic project management tool with property management bolted on. They need something built around how rent, tenants, and maintenance actually work here — Paystack and Flutterwave as first-class payment rails, WhatsApp as a real communication channel, and Naira as the default currency, not an afterthought.
So that's what we built. Not a platform adapted from a US or European product, but one designed from the ground up for landlords managing two units and agencies managing two hundred.
